EVENT INFORMATION

Volunteer Day at the Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail (The Outdoor Classroom) located up Blanton Branch in Oil Springs, KY. 4-5 hours of Community Service Volunteer Hours available for each day. Verification forms are available if requested. You must log and track your own hours.

There is a lot of physical activity like walking and lifting, so be sure to wear comfortable and protective shoes and bring your own work/garden gloves.

We ask that each participant maintain physical distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Water, hand sanitizer and bug spray will be provided and located under the Learning Shelter.

Bring your own lunch and snacks and please remember to take your trash with you when you go. We are looking forward to working with you!

I hereby give my approval for myself and/or child (ren), participation in any and all activities prepared by a representative from the Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail Program. In exchange for the acceptance of said volunteered position, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail and all its respective officers, agents, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from selected event. In case of injury, I hereby waive all claims against Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail including all volunteers and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.

I, the above listed, grant permission to Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail for the use of the photograph(s) or electronic media images of any and all kind whatsoever. I understand that I may revoke this authorization at any time by notifying Paintsville Lake Activity, Nature and Edible Trail Representative in writing. The revocation will not affect any actions taken before the receipt of this written notification. Images will be stored in a secure location and only authorized staff will have access to them. They will be kept as long as they are relevant and after that time destroyed or archived.
