Terms of Service
Thank you for your interest in commissioning me! By filling out this form and sending it in, you're applying for a commission. I am not taking payment through this form. After I've confirmed all the commission details with you, I'll send an invoice for the required amount.
Payment
All commissions under $25 will require payment upfront. Anything over this amount will be charged half up front and half upon completion.
I send invoices using SquareUp and Paypal, so please let me know if you use Paypal so I can send it through there rather than SquareUp.
Cancellation / Refund
There are no cancellations to commissions under $25. However, you can cancel a commission that is paid half upfront and half after. There is no refund on the up-front payment, but you will not be charged the complete payment if a final file has not been sent.
Please notify me asap if you need to cancel your commission! I understand unexpected situations come up, so just let me know.
Commission Changes
You are encouraged to change the ideas and details of a commission! If additional characters are added, an extra invoice will be sent to cover the current rate listed in this form. Please try to make changes during the sketch, line, and flat color phase if at all possible.
Estimated Time and Completion
I do not guarantee commission completion time due to the difference in complexity and requests provided. However, I do try to follow a standard time table
Sketch, Headshot, and Simple Commissions: 5-10 days
Full-Color or Complex Commissions: 10-20 days
As I said though, life happens. If I think it may take me longer to finish a commission, I will immediately let you know.
Upon completion of a commission, you will receive a high res .png file, a compressed file (for uploading to sites with file restrictions), and a transparent version that you can put on a different background. These are usually sent through either dropbox or google drive depending on your preference.
All headshot commissions come with a simple background. I do not create complex backgrounds for headshot commissions!
Usage Rights
Just like buying a painting at a store, once you buy my art it's yours. It doesn't matter to me what you do with it or how you use it. That being said, my art is not allowed to be sold as merchandise unless previously agreed upon. You can print off stuff for yourself, but you may not mass produce items in exchange for payment. Other than that, you're free to do with it as you will! You don't need permission from me to draw or paint over your image, because realistically, if someone is going to do it they're going to do it with or without my permission.
Disclaimer
By commissioning me, you are giving me the right to post my artwork on any of my social media with credit to your character. If you wish to make a private commission, please let me know ahead of time. This is to prevent me from asking everyone permission to post their character.
