A 2 Part Series - Wednesday, January 13th at 7:30PM and Wednesday, January 20th at 7:30PM
Please join Michael Bobbitt, Artistic Director of the New Repertory Theater in Watertown, MA -- and the incoming Executive Director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council -- for a two-session professional development opportunity focused on building anti-racist theater programs at your respective schools.
Session One will provide participants with an opportunity to understand the foundations of anti-racist theater. Participants will engage in a dialogue about anti-racist theater and be provided an opportunity for questions and discussion.
Session Two will provide participants with an opportunity to take what they have learned and apply it in their classrooms and performance spaces. Participants will work with their peers to identify action steps that work to dismantle policies and programs rooted in systemic racism.
When you register, you will be registering for both sessions. The registration fee is $50 per person for Member Schools and $75 per person for Non-Member Schools - this fee includes both sessions. Everyone who registers will receive the Zoom link the morning of each session.
