Applying for Financial Aid
La Salle recognizes that private school education is a significant investment and we offer financial aid to qualified families. La Salle uses a third-party partner called FACTS to help determine families' eligibility for financial aid. More information on financial aid can be found on our school website.
Separation From School
I understand that written notice of withdrawal of the Student's enrollment in the School must be received by the Principal, with a copy sent to the Finance Office, before June 1, 2021, but that no portion of the Registration Fee will be refunded for any reason whatsoever at any time. I acknowledge and agree that the expenses of the School do not diminish with the departure of the Student, whether via withdrawal, dismissal, or for any reason, voluntary or involuntary, either prior to, or during, the academic year and that my obligation to pay the Tuition for the full academic year is absolute and unconditional on June 1, 2021, given that School must obtain and place resources for the full school year by the start of each academic year. As of June 1, 2021, I am responsible for the Student's full Tuition as liquidated damages. I agree that the amount of liquidated damages is a reasonable estimate of the damages likely to be incurred by the School as a result of the Student's separation from the School on or after June 1, 2021 and that the actual damages are difficult or impossible to ascertain under this Agreement due to the School's need to obtain and place various resources sufficient to cover academic activities throughout the academic year. In the event of the Student's separation from the School on or after June 1, 2021, all unpaid Tuition shall become immediately due.
Student-Parent Hanbook
The Student and I agree to comply with the School's policies, rules, regulations, and standards of academic and social behavior as stated in the School's Student-Parent Handbook (the "Handbook" I understand that the Handbook sets forth general expectations regarding the Student's enrollment in the School, but that the Handbook does not constitute a contract between me and the School or the Student and the School, and that the School may deviate from the guidelines and expectations set forth in the Handbook in its discretion as individual circumstances may warrant. The School may alter, interpret, and implement its rules, policies, and procedures, including those in the Handbook, at any time. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Contract and the policies and provisions of the Handbook, the terms of this Contract shall govern.
Accurate Student Information
I affirm that all information about the Student provided to the School is accurate and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand and acknowledge that any false, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading statements may be grounds for dismissal of the Student.
COVID-19 Notice And Disclosure
COVID-19 is a novel and extremely contagious communicable illness that is spread through person-to-person interactions. COVID-19 can cause symptoms in any infected individual, though data indicates that older individuals and those with existing medical conditions are at a higher risk of developing severe symptoms and complications. Not all individuals infected with COVID-19 display any symptoms, but such individuals may nonetheless be contagious and spread the infection. COVID-19 is also associated with a serious and potentially deadly condition called Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C State and local authorities are closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in the State of California, and have introduced mandatory quarantines, social distancing, and other safety measures to try to mitigate the spread of the disease.
Consistent with guidelines from the Pasadena Public Health Department, the School continues to develop and implement policies and practices, and implement modifications to our campus, to help promote a safer environment, especially as it relates to COVID-19. However, circumstances are evolving rapidly, and federal, state and city operating procedures continue to evolve. I understand that the School may deviate from the guidelines and expectations set forth required by the Pasadena Public Health Department, at its discretion as individual circumstances may warrant. By signing this Contract, I, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Student, acknowledge and agree that the Student and I will adhere to the School's Pandemic Policies and other expectations, and that failure to do so may result in suspension, dismissal, or refusal to enroll the Student in the School, as determined by the School, in its sole discretion.
