ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Students enrolled in Summer I 2022 must have completed a 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student AID (FAFSA) and must have a complete 2021-2022 Financial Aid file.
- Students enrolled in Summer II 2022 must have completed a 2022-2023 Free Application for Federal Student AID (FAFSA) and must have a complete 2022-2023 Financial Aid file.
- Student must register for ONLY those courses required for his/her current degree plan.
- Student must meet all requirements for the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAP). Please refer to the Howard College Catalog at our website, www.howardcollege.edu for information

Enrollment Information
Eligibility for Pell award: Students that have reached 100% of Pell for the 2021-2022 year, may qualify for an additional 50%. The additional funds beyond 100% are only available if the student is enrolled at least half-time in the payment period. Continued eligibility will be based on total amount of pell awarded (from all institutions), number of hours enrolled, and Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.

Summer Loans: Students will be required to be enrolled and attending 6 hours simultaneously to receive student loans. Student must complete the Summer Loan Award Acceptance Form. Summer loans will be awarded based on prior loans awarded and loan limit eligibility. To receive loans, you must go through the application process as described on our website https://howardcollege.edu.

Enrollment in flex courses may affect Pell and/or loan disbursements, as well as eligibility.
