Participants in the 2022 Pathways Program will be determined by the Pathways Advisory Group; a small group including representatives from the IMA West and East Councils, GMP staff and other respected First Nation Christian elders and leaders.
The number of applicants accepted into the program will based on available funding and the following criteria:
1. Personal recommendation by a local Christian ministry leader/group
2. Past or present involvement in Christian ministry
3. Opportunity for the participant to be supported through the program by a local Christian ministry.
4. The participant's availability and current capacity to fully commit to the program over a 12 month period. This includes availability for regular mentoring by a First Nation Christian elder/leader and attendance at two intensives.
All applicants, whether they are accepted into the program or not, will have the opportunity to participate in any larger community gatherings that are organised during the year as part of the Pathways Program and can re-apply for the program the following year.
