This award will go to an organisation that understands that one size doesn’t fit all and that diversity in the workplace is crucial. An organisation that has gone the extra mile to support those who are usually excluded from the workplace, especially those with neurological conditions.
Outstanding healthcare professional
This category is for the healthcare professional of the year and could be awarded to any health professional working in any discipline e.g. neurologist, G.P, physio, nurse etc. They will be highly skilled at their job, have done something extraordinary or is simply there for you when you need them.
Outstanding education professional
This award will be given to the teacher, tutor, classroom assistant or professor etc. who has supported their students to gain the maximum benefit from their study. This individual is someone who ensures that all those attending their classes have equal opportunities to learn and reach their full potential.
Volunteer of the year
This award recognises a volunteer who has worked tirelessly and generously give their free time, enthusiasm, and energy to help improve the lives of disabled people or their family, friends, or carers.
An inspirational individual and example of true dedication, the winner of this award will be a valuable part of any community.
The get up and go award
For the person who embarked on a unique lockdown project, that kept them and/or others active & healthy. Despite having to stay physically isolated, they managed to maintain their personal connection with those in their community.
Pandemic hero
The Pandemic hero award is for someone who supported their community through an unprecedented time and committed themselves to not leaving anyone behind.
The Sir Bert Massie lifetime achievement award
The Sir Bert Massie lifetime achievement award honours an individual who has dedicated years to overcome the obstacles they have faced and, in doing so, become a positive role model for others.
This award will go to an individual who has achieved more than anyone ever expected them to and whose story inspires us all to reach higher.
