2023 Junior High Strength Camp

This is a unique opportunity for all current Junior High School student-athletes to gain a competitive edge as they prepare to compete at the high school level. This camp will focus on the development of strength, speed and power while emphasizing safety through proper technique. Each session will mirror the specific year-round training fundamentals that Bishop Amat High School student-athletes experience. Athletes will work through an exercise hierarchy to teach, train, challenge, and develop athletic ability. Campers are encouraged to wear athletic shorts, t-shirt, and cross training shoes.

Module I: January 9th - March 15th

 

Module II: March 20th - May 31st

 

I hereby authorize the director, staff, and volunteers of the Junior High Weight Room Camp to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency medical situation. I hereby waive, release, exonerate, and discharge the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Bishop Amat High School, and the Director of the Junior High Weight Room Camp and all its volunteers from any and all actions or

causes known or unknown, from any injuries incurred in camp, or on the way to and/or from camp. Costs for treatment of injuries and

hospitalization for illness or injuries incurred during the Junior High Weight Room Camp will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian of the participant. I certify that my child is healthy, and has no injury or illness which would limit his participation. I also understand that no refunds will be offered.

Arrival for Registration:

We encourage parents to arrive at Bishop Amat High School between by 5:45pm. There will be an entrance to the school parking lot on Fairgrove Avenue. Please meet Coach Andrade and staff in the weight room.

At this point, if your campers waiver was not completed prior to arriving, we will offer a QR code on-site to complete registration.  Please be prepared with camp payment option.
