    State Pairs & Teams Competition

    Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th September 2023

  • Competition Details 

    SATURDAY - 8:30am riders breifing

    • Led/Assisted/Novice – 9:00am Start 

      New riders, novice horses and led riders (Led riders must demonstrate some control, small controlled canters permitted).

      This will be held over 2 sessions. The first at 9:00 and the second after the first heat. All riders will receive a ribbon. (This will be run as Pairs, Teams or Individuals depending on numbers.)

    • State Pairs

      Mixed age groups A, B & C final.
      This will be run over 2 heats and a final. Ribbons 1st to 6th place, this will be scored in your age groups.

     SUNDAY

    • Teams– 8:30am Start

      Mixed age groups A, B & C final.
      This will be run over 2 heats and a final.

  • Membership Details      

    **All riders to be financial members of AMGA before riding. (Please see entry forms for day membership details).

    Yearly Membership: Please visit https://eventsecretary.com.au to complete.

    NOTE* first comp is included in membership fee. Single membership $90. Discounts apply for multiple family members.

    AMGA Members: Led/Assisted/Novice members $15.00 (Saturday only) Mainstream $20 for one day, $30 for two.

    Non-AMGA Members: $40 for one day, $50 for two. Led/assisted/novice non-members $40. This includes day membership, insurance and competition fee. All riders must complete a membership form and sign a waiver before riding.

    Age groups: (Mainstream) Whatever the riders age is as of the 01/01/2023 is the age group they will compete in.

    Dress: Boots, approved helmet, fawn or black coloured jodhpurs/riding pants and a collared shirt must be worn. All jewellery & watches must be removed or taped. 

    Start Time: Riders Breifing 8:30am Saturday. Please ensure you arrive early to help set up on the 1st day of competition where possible and staying to help pack everything away at the end of a competition is greatly appreciated. 

    Gate fee: $5 per horse. (Compulsory)

    Canteen: Chicken burgers & Saussages will be available over the canteen please bring cash.

  • Strictly NO whips, spurs, bad or un-sports like behaviour. Failure to comply may result in disqualification, point deductions or a request to leave the grounds. 

    ALL RIDERS ARE REQUIRED TO HELP RUN GEAR BETWEEN THEIR SESSIONS, IT IS ALSO APPRECIATED IF YOU HELP SET UP AND PACK UP.
