    Suncoast is a TK–12 public charter school built around a homeschool-centered, independent study model, where we partner closely with families to create flexible, personalized learning experiences that reflect each student’s needs, interests, and goals. This approach allows us to meet students where they are and support them in a way that is both meaningful and individualized.

    At the heart of this work is a commitment to connection, thoughtful communication, and showing up with care. Our team works collaboratively, with flexibility and intention, to support both students and one another.

  • Please provide a complete employment history for all previous positions with school districts, charter schools, county offices of education, or other state schools. Valid email addresses and phone numbers for each educational institution are required so that we can send the mandated verification form if you are offered a position at Suncoast.

    This information is required to ensure compliance with California AB 2534 and SB 848, which require schools to request and review specific employment history information from prior educational employers. This process is not a standard employment or reference check. It is a state mandated safety and verification process, and applicants must provide accurate contact information for the appropriate individuals who can officially verify employment under these laws.

    Employment with Suncoast is contingent upon the satisfactory review of your employment history. If, during this review, information is discovered that disqualifies you from employment, Suncoast will not be able to move forward with your hire.
