Thank you for your interest in auditioning for Dominion Entertainment Group's 2023 production of Black Nativity which will run from December 7, 2023 - December 17, 2023 at the Ferst Center for the Arts.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW
- If you are auditioning as a DANCER you MUST arrive no later than 10am for the dancer call. Please prepare and dress dance appropriate (leotards/tights/jazz pants). If you have a character shoe please bring (not required). You will dance barefoot for much of the dance call. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO SING AS A DANCER. IT'S A MUSICAL. COME WITH A SONG NO MATTER YOUR ABILITIES.
- If you listed yourself as a (dancer/actor) please prepare and dress dance appropriate (leotards, tights, jazz pants, etc.). YOU WILL SWEAT!! If you have a character shoe please bring but not required. You will dance barefoot for much of the dance call.
- If you registered as an ACTOR/SINGER or a SINGER, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your actual audition time to check in. You may be asked to stay for movement evaluation. Dress comfortably, just in case.
- PREPARE TO SING 32 bars of a Gospel song, spiritual or HYMN that best showcases your vocal abilities. AVOID PRAISE AND WORSHIP SONGS.
- Dress comfortably for your audition as you may be evaluated on your movement skills (dance).
- BRING ONE HEADSHOT
We may stop you in the middle of your song for time considerations. It is not an indication of how well you are doing.
- SINGERS will sing a cappella.
