Distinguished Young Alumna / Alumnus of the Year

Faithful Daughter Award

The Faithful Daughter Award recognizes and expresses gratitude to an alumna or former student who has demonstrated servant leadership through consistent and faithful interest and investment in the mission and vision of Blue Mountain Christian University, including volunteer work and other engagements at the University. The recipient's contribution may or may not be highly visible but is recognized as significant in moving the University forward and demonstrating the core values of Truth, Knowledge, and Virtue.

The Faithful Servant Award recognizes and expresses gratitude to a ministerial alumnus or former student who has demonstrated consistent and faithful service, thereby reflecting the qualities of a servant leader. The recipient's contribution may or may not be highly visible, but his performance makes a difference in the lives of those he serves. In so doing, the recipient manifests the University's values of Truth, Knowledge, and Virtue.

Johnnie Armstrong Award

The Johnnie Armstrong Award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who has embraced the five core values of Champions of Character in Athletics, Physical Education, or Kinesiology and demonstrates a commitment to the University's values of Truth, Knowledge, and Virtue. The Champions of Character values are integrity, responsibility, sportsmanship, servant leadership, and respect.
