Introduction
The Mongolian Bird Conservation Center was established in 2015, and one of the main strengths of the organization is the extensive experience in multi-faceted bird research that our scientists and researchers possess. We have initiated research projects through bird ringing and research at the Chukh Bird Research Station in Eastern Mongolia since 2019, and the Bayan Raptor Research Station in Central Mongolia since 2024 (see the map). These projects actively engage enthusiastic interns, students, and professionals in our research endeavors.
We are currently welcoming registrations from international volunteers interested in contributing to and learning from our work in these areas.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Participate in research activities of MBCC
- Engage in bird ringing, monitoring and tracking activity.
- Collaborate with Mongolian and international researchers.
When:
15th March to 30th September. A minimum participation of 10 day is preferred.
