GPTLA Membership
The Great Plains Texas Longhorn Association is an affiliate of the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America. Our goal is to promote the Texas Longhorn breed and producers, encourage youth involvement, and educate the public about Texas Longhorn beef. We hold an annual World Qualifying Show each year in August, bringing folks from across the USA and Canada, to South Dakota. If you would like to join our growing membership, we would love to have you as part of the team. We have four levels to choose from: Lifetime Membership for $350.00 (for individuals or entities that are Texas Longhorn producers), Annual Membership for $35.00 (for individuals or entities that are Texas Longhorn producers), Associate Annual Membership for $25.00 (for individuals or entities that are NOT Texas Longhorn producers), and Junior Annual Membership for $10 (for individuals that are under the age of 18). Lifetime, Annual, and Associate memberships receive 1 (one) vote at general membership meeting and during elections.
