Ensure The Title(s) Do NOT Have Any Of The Following: (Checklist)

Signing Titles: (BLUE OR BLACK INK ONLY) (Checklist)
(Front Of Title) The Seller's Signature is required. If an existing signature is already present on the FRONT of the title, do not alter it. An existing signature is acceptable, even if the individual is no longer employed at the facility.
(Back Of Title) Leave "Date Of Sale" BLANK.
(Back Of Title) The Seller's Signature is required in the designated field "Signature of Seller/Agent."
(Back Of Title) The Seller's Printed Name is required in the designated field "Printed Name (Same as Signature)."
(Back Of Title) If there is an existing signature on the BACK of the title and the individual is no longer authorized to sign or is no longer employed, please refer to the FAQs for further guidance.
We recognize that errors can occur. If there are any scratch-outs or use of white-out on the title, please refer to the FAQs for further guidance.

Certificate Of Origin Titles: (BLUE OR BLACK INK ONLY) (Checklist)
(Front Of Title) Please leave this section blank; no signature is required.
(Back Of Title) Ensure The "Distributor - Dealer Assignment Number 1" section is completed, this section is filled out by the dealer at the time of the original purchase by the seller.
(Back Of Title) Leave "Distributor - Dealer Assignment Number 2" Section BLANK; No signature is required.
Signing Older Style Title: (BLUE OR BLACK INK ONLY) (Checklist)
(Front Of Title Section 3) The Seller's Signature is required. If an existing signature is already present on the FRONT of the title, do not alter it. An existing signature is acceptable, even if the individual is no longer employed at the facility.
(Back Of Title) Leave "Date Of Sale" BLANK.
(Back Of Title Section 4) The Seller's Signature is required in the designated Area "By:"
(Back Of Title) Signature: "Printed Name Of Seller" - Example: Candy Bar ISD: John Doe

Trailers Under 4,000 LBS Gross Weight With No Title: (BLUE OR BLACK INK ONLY) (Checklist)
130-U Form is required with the Seller's Signature.
The Seller's Printed Name is required in the designated area "Printed Name(s) (Same as Signature(s)) on the 130-U Form.
DO NOT DATE 130-U Form.
Up-to-date Registration Receipt Must Be Accompanied With A 130-U Form.
Trailers with MORE than 4,000 LBS Gross Weight REQUIRES a Title no exceptions.
Signing the Application for Texas Title and/or Registration is commonly referred to as the "130-U Form": (BLUE OR BLACK INK ONLY) (Checklist)
The Seller's Signature is required in the designated area "Signature(s) of Seller(s), Donor(s), or Trader(s).
The Seller's Printed Name is required in the designated area "Printed Name(s) (Same as Signature(s)).
