    A musical revue celebrating the mating game!

    This crowd-pleasing comedy takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as “the relationship.”

  • Show description:

    This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum know as “the relationship.” Through sketches and songs, Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”

  • Halifax Repertory Theatre is seeking male presenting and female presenting actors ages 20-50 to play the roles in this production. A stipend will be offered to those cast.

    • Auditions will take place by video submission only for this production.  We are seeking 1-2 male presenting and 1-2 female presenting performers ages 21 and up for this production. 

      Please prepare your video submission with the folowing: 2 vocal selections of 16-32 bars of music (two contrasting styles), a comedic monolouge and a dance reel if you have.
