About: The East Aurora High School Sustainable Agriculture Program raised, processed and is selling pasture-raised, organically fed whole chickens. This meat was raised at EAHS by students. Our students built their pens and completed the daily chores. The chickens were moved daily to fresh grass in mobile pasture pens and fed organic grain from a Finger Lakes area farm. The meat was processed on Tuesday November 5th by a group of our students during a field trip to Erba Verde Farms in East Aurora. They learned and participated in the processing. The chicken is vacuum sealed and frozen. It can be thawed and cooked after directly pickup or stored in your freezer.
