About the workshop:
Have you ever wanted to have a tail? Or wished you could move any way you want? Or just needed permission to feel good in your body?
Introducing improvisational dance through playful warmups, funky grooves, and group movement research, this workshop is meant for you: BODY~ whoever you are! In this workshop, we’ll play games, practice physical listening, and make in-the-moment art HAPPEN together.
Bodies of all abilities and all ages are enthusiastically welcome.
Audience: This workshop is suitable for all ages.
What to bring: Everything you need will be provided.
Cost: The workshop is free, but a suggested donation is appreciated!
Registration: Registration is required and will close 24 hours before the workshop begins.
About the Artist:
Hannah Laga Abram is a dancemaker from Santa Fe, New Mexico. With a degree in choreography and extensive experience facilitating all ages in the outdoors, Hannah's work lives at the intersection of movement, place, and community. Wilderness awareness, experiential anatomy, and Alexander Technique inform her teaching.
