Here's some details about how commissions work:
- Cost is driven by size, level of detail & material type
- Minimum size - 2x2ft
- Maximum size - 6x10ft
- Level of detail is dependent on complexity of the design itself & post-processing option
- Uncarved designs can reduce the cost and will not have the 3D effect.
- Carved designs have beveled edges between colors, making the design have a 3D effect.
- Material types serve different uses
- Acrylic rugs are recommended for wall art or floor areas with no foot traffic (including pets). Acrylic fibers do not withstand the test of time if stepped on daily. Acrylic rugs are cheaper in cost.
- Wool rugs are intended to be actual rugs. This is the same quality as a store-bought rug, made with alpaca wool and durable backing material. This rug should outlive you. Wool rugs are more expensive than acrylic.
- Commissions require a non-refundable 50% deposit to purchase materials. The remaining 50% will be due once the rug is completed.
- The quote provided does not include shipping if applicable. Shipping is to be covored by the customer.
