In consideration of being permitted to participate in the 2025 Extraordinary Individuals Parade (the "Event"), sponsored and organized by the League City Proud Organization, we, the undersigned parent/legal guardian ("Parent/Guardian") and child/ward ("Participant"), hereby acknowledge and agree as follows: Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk We understand and acknowledge that attending and participating in the parade involves risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, exposure to crowds, weather, and other unforeseen hazards. We voluntarily accept and assume all such risks, both for the child/ward and for the accompanying parent/guardian. We additionally agree to indemnify and hold harmless these released parties from any claims or expenses resulting from our participation, including legal fees. Media Authorization We authorize the use and publication of our names, images, or likenesses in photographs, video, or recordings made during the Event for promotional purposes, without compensation.
