    ONLINE REGISTRATION ENTRY FORM FOR ALL GENERAL HORTICULTURE
  • Enter as many exhibits as you want and click the Submit button when finished.  Your entries will be automatically saved.   Or, if you want to stop and finish later so that you can add or change or add anything click Save and Continue button. You must return and click the Submit button for your plants to be registered.

    This forms consists of two sections.  Section One is for container-grown or cut specimens; Section Two is for all Combination Plantings and Unusual Containers.   

    Enter all Botanical Arts Entries (Fairy Gardens) on Division III Botanical Arts Horticulture Entry Form.  Those registration forms (online and pdf) are available online at https://gardenclubstpetersburg.org/registration-page/  Paper copies for all pdf versions are also available from Jan Ankerberg and at all General Meetings.

  • SECTION ONE

    Container-Grown or Cut Specimens Only
  • HOW TO ENTER A BINOMIAL NAME

    Names require 2 parts.  Always include the Genus and then at least one of the following Species/Specific Epithet or 'Cultivar'.  Enter as many as you know.   Common names are helpful but are not part of the Binomial name.

    For Container-Grown Multiple Plantings and Unusual Containers Only
  •  SECTION H. UNUSUAL CONTAINERS

     The container should be full of plants and be in scale (not too big or too small).   You can fill the pot with just one plant or you must have at least 3 more botanically different plants that have the same growing conditions.

     SECTION I. MULTIPLE PLANTINGS

    Three or more botanically different plants in a dish garden, or planter or a terrarium .  You may use natural materials (wood, rocks, natural colored pebbles) to decorate. 

     

    HOW TO ENTER BINOMIAL NAMES IN THIS SECTION.

    All plants must be listed separated by commas.

    Each plant must be listed by Genus and either the species/Specific Epithet OR 'Cultivar'.  If the Genus is repeated you may use the initial capital letter followed by a period.  Do not use any common names in this section.
