Thank you for your interest in Mobility Dogs. At this time, we work with individuals aged 18 years and over. This is due to the 1:1 partnership required and the level of responsibility involved in caring for and working with a Mobility Dog. If you are supporting someone under 18, you may like to explore Assistance Dogs New Zealand Trust, who offer programmes for younger individuals (please note their waitlist may not always be open). We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and wish you all the best in finding the right support.

You can share as much or as little detail as you feel comfortable with, and describe things in your own words.

For example: mobility, balance, fatigue, pain, memory, communication, sensory needs.

You can share details such as number of adults, children, flatmates, or support workers.

Please include what type they are and how many.

For example: work or study, time at home, community activities, appointments, support services, hobbies.

For example: picking up items, opening doors, public confidence, or specific daily tasks.

For example: dogs you’ve owned, family dogs, or if you’re completely new to dogs.
