Important Conference Proposal and Funding Information
* Please fill out the form completely. All the fields are required. The form will not allow you to post if information is not provided. A committee of Higher Education Conference Committee members and National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) members will review and select the sessions.
* Presentation session description should not exceed 500 words—this is the actual information to be placed in the program booklet and conference mobile app.
* Make sure to select the competencies and/or NEA organizational priorities: (ESSA engagement and policy development, Early Career Educators engagement and Addressing Institutional Racism) under which your session can be listed. It is also imperative that your session embodies the conference's theme: Unite. Inspire. Lead: Strengthening Bridges to Opportunities. * The new deadline for session submission is November 27, 2016.
* Presenters will be notified by December 19, 2016.
* If selected, NEA will pay only registration fees, travel and accommodations, and reasonable travel-related expenses for ONE (1) primary presenter.
* NEA will waive registration fees for additional trainers (non-primary) or panelist presenters.
* If selected, NEA will provide specific travel guidelines and information for travel and arrangements for accommodations.
* Selected presenters will be required to participate in a virtual presenters' meeting in early January 2017.
* All presenters are required to register for the Higher Education Conference by February 1, 2017.
