Thank you for considering being a part of the DanceBlue 2018 Leadership Team. The leaders of DanceBlue will have the chance to make a tremendous impact in the lives of thousands of individuals across the Commonwealth, as well as, thousands of students, faculty and staff at UK. While your personal motivation for participating in DanceBlue may differ, each individual’s contribution will continue to make DanceBlue a proud tradition at the University of Kentucky. In sharing this fight alongside of the kids, you will instill hope, courage, and comfort in their lives and will quickly find that they have the power to change your life as well. Applying for a DanceBlue Leadership position means you must understand the commitment that every position will require. Thoroughly review the obligations of each chair and coordinator before applying. Attendance at weekly mandatory meetings and events as designated by the Overall Chair is required, and you will need to be actively working on DanceBlue throughout the year. In addition, Coordinators will be required to hold 1 office hour each week during the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 semesters.

We are looking for individuals that are strong leaders and can make DanceBlue a top priority in the coming year. DanceBlue 2018 Coordinators will be expected to limit, to a certain extent, their involvement with other organizations.

Graphic Design Coordinator Applications will be considered on a rolling basis.

These coordinators will serve as DanceBlue’s in-house graphic designers and will work with all committees whenever a promotional poster or photoshop piece is needed. The Graphic Designers will work closely with the Merchandise Coordinator in designing all DanceBlue shirts and merchandise. Past graphic design experience preferred. This coordinator will be required to have 1 office hour a week with the Public Relations Chair.
