WAIVER AND RELEASE OF ALL CLAIMS FOR CHRIST LUTHERAN CHURCH VOLUNTEERS
Please read this form carefully and be aware that in volunteering you will be waiving and releasing all claims for injuries you might sustain arising out of this participation.
As a volunteer in this program, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, damages or loss which I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with this program.
| agree to waive and relinquish all claims I may have as a result of participating in this program against Christ Lutheran Church (aka- Christ Lincoln) and their Pastors, staff, leadership, volunteers, and employees.
I do hereby fully release and discharge Christ Lutheran Church and their Pastors, staff, leadership, volunteers, and employees from any and all claims for injuries, damage or loss which I may have or which may accrue to me on account of participation in this program. I have read and understand the above Waiver and Release of All Claims.

a. Permission to interview, film, photograph, tape, or otherwise make a video reproduction of me and/or record my voice;

We understand that February is a busy time for school events, especially on a Friday evening. Please make sure you check your school calendar to make sure you won't have other committments such as basketball, show choir, etc.
To those wishing to serve as a family: You will need to register each individual separately. As each job fills up, it will become unavailable, so sign up soon! We ask that you respect our age requirements listed at the beginning of each slot as this helps the event run more smoothly.
What would a prom be without a corsage? Do you have some experience with crafting a corsage? We need you!
Help our guests discover and own their dream gown. This pre-event position gets the dresses from the rack to the dancefloor. Pre-event dress shops will be held in early January to provide time for completion of any needed alterations. Prom closet dates are: 1/10 from 5-8p and 1/19 from 9a-12p. 643 South 25th Street #8 (Foster Care Closet).
Follow the lead of our decorating team and create features for the event in your own time and home. Or, get your small group together and we will arrange a meeting space and time for you. Each team member should register.
Help our decorating duo make their designs a reality.
Help us get the pre-prom area gussied up for our pre-prom guests. Set up stations for entertainment and grooming. Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult

We have gifts for our guests to help them remember their Night to Shine experience. Help us assemble the gifts prior to prom night. Great for a small group service project!
Caregivers make all the difference in the lives of our special guests. We want to let them know how much we appreciate what they do. We'll provide the goodies, you prep the bags for giving.

Help our guests navigate in and out of their vehicles on Night to Shine. Your greeting and assistance will be the first they see. Dress for outdoors.

Prom Buddies will advocate for our guests throughout the evening. We require a background check and strongly prefer that buddies have experience with people who have special needs. Link to Background Check
Although we assume that our guests are able to use the restroom unassisted, we would like to provide this service should the need arise.
Help out in one of our activity stations for pre-prom. From the nail salon to the games room, we have a spot for you!
Great for a youth or a small group
Help our guests take Center Stage for the Karaoke portion of pre-prom. You'll work with our Karaoke guy help our guests enjoy their solo debut.
Nails? it wouldn't prom without a manicure. Help make that a reality by painting during pre-prom.
Put the SHINE in Night to Shine by spiffing up dress shoes during our pre-prom event. We'll train you!

We have a photo backdrop all ready to meet up with your camera skills. Take the photos and post to Flickr. Do and Done!

Care to play dress-up? We'll provide the costume for you to bring delight to our guests! You can choose your own from The Children's Museum! Fitting day is: Thursday, January 31st from 3-7p (1420 P Street), or by personal appointment. Contact Avery at (402)477-4000 ext. 105.

Have prom dress (none of the 3 Bs showing) or suits that were made for the dance floor. We'd like you to encourage our guests to join you for the fun.
Modest formal dress attire, required.
Have vehicle will travel. Help us get the meal hot from the oven and to the church for our evening meal. This is a one and done, but VERY important position.
Serve from the left and clear from the right. Help us get dinner on the table for our Night to Shine dinner.
