Traveler understands that Your Gallivanting Guru, in making travel arrangements, acts in conjunction with Travel Supplier(s); to include but not limited to hotels, bus companies, railroads, tour operators, cruise lines, car rental companies, and other contractors providing accommodations, transportation or other services, selected for your itinerary. All Travel Suppliers are independent and do not act for or on behalf of Your Gallivanting Guru, are not servants of Your Gallivanting Guru and are not in a joint venture with Your Gallivanting Guru.

By signing below, Traveler agrees to the foregoing and also agrees that neither Your Gallivanting Guru nor its affiliates or representatives shall be or become liable for any loss, costs, expense, injury, accident or damage to person or property resulting directly or indirectly from (i) the acts or Omissions of the Travel Suppliers, including, but not limited to, delays or cancellation of services, cessation of operations, breakdown in machinery or equipment or changes in fares, itineraries or schedules, and/or (ii) acts of God, fire, acts of government or other authorities, wars, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, pandemics, quarantines, other disease, climatic aberrations, dangers incident to activities or from any other cause beyond Your Gallivanting Guru control.

Traveler hereby affirms that he/she is voluntarily participating in the travel services that Your Gallivanting Guru has reserved on Traveler’s behalf. Traveler assumes the risk of all inherent and other dangers in any way connected with the travel services, and Traveler waives any and all specific notice of the existence of such conditions.

PASSPORTS & VISAS: Everyone, including children and infants, MUST have a VALID passport to travel internationally (not Passport Card). Failure to comply will result in denial of boarding, no refund, no exceptions (out of the USA). Your Gallivanting Guru is NOT responsible for passports in ANY way. Passports are required to be valid for 6 months from your return date. PASSPORT CARDS ARE NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY VIA AIR! It is your responsibly to ensure that you have secured the correct travel documentation for each county you are visiting. Each passenger must check with the appropriate consulate for each country for exact visa & passport requirements. Failure to secure the correct documentation may prevent you traveling to or entering the country resulting in forfeiting the cost of your trip. Your Gallivanting Guru is not responsibility for ensuring you have the correct travel documents.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL SAFETY: The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling and living abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate. This program allows travelers to receive important information from the Embassy about safety conditions in your destination country, helping you make informed decisions about your travel plans, it helps the U.S. Embassy contact you in an emergency, whether natural disaster, civil unrest, or family emergency, and it can help family and friends get in touch with you in an emergency. Visit https://step.state.gov to find out more about the STEP program and/or enroll. I also strongly encourage my clients to know where the local US Embassy is located when traveling international. Visit https://www.usembassy.gov to locate the local U.S. Embassy, Consulates, and Diplomatic Missions.

REAL ID: As of May 7th, 2025, only the Enhanced or REAL ID will be accepted to get on a domestic flight, enter certain federal buildings or military bases (unless you have a Passport). If you plan to travel, Your Gallivanting Guru recommends you upgrade ASAP. To find out if your state is in compliance, please visit: Homeland Security website (www.dhs.gov).

HONEYMOON & ANNIVERSARY TRAVELERS: You MUST bring a copy of your marriage certificate to qualify for any complimentary honeymoon/anniversary package (photo copy is recommended). Failure to have such proof of marriage will result in the resort denying these complimentary privileges (if applicable). PLEASE notify Your Gallivanting Guru agent if you are celebrating a Honeymoon or Anniversary so that they can annotate this in your reservation. Typically, resorts will honor these packages up to 30 days before or after your honeymoon/anniversary date.

CAR RENTALS: If the itinerary includes a car rental, the price quoted only covers the basic rental cost, VAT taxes of the vehicle and, if selected, CDW charges. Local charges, such as one-way drop fees, location service charges, vehicle licensing fees, and road taxes are all paid upon return the vehicle. Clients must present a credit card in the main driver’s name. If the client does not present a credit card in the main driver’s name the car rental agent may refuse the release the vehicle and no refunds will be issued. 

FINAL PAYMENT: The final payment MUST be received NO LATER THAN 90 days (depending on the Travel Supplier booking agreement) prior to departure. Final payments are not automatically charged. Please note your calendar of this final payment date as reminders may not be sent, however Your Gallivanting Guru aims to send reminders about a week before payment is due. You must go to www.yourgallivantingguru.com on the date you'd like the payment to be posted. Your Gallivanting Guru is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after this date. Late fees will apply.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: ANY changes made to your existing reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of change.

TRAVEL SUPPLIER CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Pertaining to the room portion of your trip; once your reservation is made a nonrefundable penalty will be assessed up until any additional resort penalties take effect. The aforementioned fee is per person or entire room canceling (so if 1 person within the room cancels these same rules apply for that person). Additional fees will apply to canceled bookings. 

YOUR GALLIVANTING GURU CANCELLATION PENALTIES: Cancellations made to approved and deposited bookings are subject to a $100 agency fee per person.

TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN: Please refer to this website for more information: https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/know-before-you-go/your-trip. Your Gallivanting Guru is not responsible for lack of compliance to provide proper documentation to authorities. It is the responsibility of the traveler & the traveler’s parents/guardians to provide proper documentation to authorities.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Travel documents will be sent to you no later than five (5) days prior to departure date. Please read through these documents immediately; misprints, misspellings, incorrect dates etc. are not the responsibility of Your Gallivanting Guru. It is very important that you take your travel documents with you. 

RESORT CHECK IN: Check-in time at most resorts is 3:00pm (local time). If you arrive prior to 3:00 pm your room may not be ready. The resort will store your luggage in a secure location on property so you may start enjoying your vacation without delay. Change into something more comfortable and enjoy a nice lunch, swim in the pool, walk along the beach, etc. until you are notified that your room accommodation is ready for check in.

DRESS CODE: ** MEN ** - Please be advised that some resort restaurants may require long pants, collared shirt, & Closed-toe shoes. Please pack accordingly.
