About This Forum:
The Raleigh Tennis Association (RTA) and USTA North Carolina (NCTennis) will host two separate information sessions at William Peace University in Raleigh, NC on Sunday, February 24.
The first session from 1:00 - 2:30 pm is directed toward parents, players, coaches - anyone interested in learning more about the 10U Youth Tennis Progression, Junior Tournaments and Junior Team Tennis (JTT). This session will be presented by NC Tennis staff members Teresa Boylan and Caroline Downs.
The second session topic is on the College Recruiting process and playing tennis in college. Parents and players playing 16U-18U tournament tennis are encouraged to attend. Information will be available from current college coaches, former college players, and will start with a keynote speaker to give an informative overview of the process: when recruiting starts, what coaches look for, how do NCAA DI, II, and III levels differ, what about JUCO and NAIA, and what players and their families SHOULD look for. This session will be held from 3:30-5:30pm.
Please complete the information below. Acceptance is on a first come basis. You are welcome to attend both sessions, but please indicate so below.
There is no cost for attendance, however space is limited. We appreciate your registration so we know how many to expect. You will receive a confirmation email prior to this event.
