• 2027 USPK National Championship Invitation for Bid

  • The United States Parkour Association (USPK) invites qualified gyms and organizations to submit a bid to host either the 2027 USPK (Adult) National Championship, to be held  July 10-11, 2027, or the 2027 USPK Youth National Championships, to be held June 11-13, 2027.

    Selected hosts will work with USPK and their Regional Coordinator to plan and operate the National Championship in accordance with USPK competition standards and event requirements. This bid application is intended to help USPK evaluate each prospective host’s facility, event capacity, staffing and operational resources, and ability to support a successful event.

    The bid application is designed for the United States Parkour Association to determine your ability to host and help organize and run either the USPK Youth National Championship or USPK (Adult) National Championship. If you have any questions or a request for information, you may direct your inquiries to the primary contact listed below.

    It is important that you respond to as many of the questions in the application form as possible. To make a well-informed decision, we need as much information as possible. If a question does not apply, simply answer with a “Not Applicable” or “N/A” in the appropriate answer box.

  • Gym profit share

    The Host will receive 70% of gross competitor registration revenue collected for the National Championship. 

    Spectator Admission Revenue: The Host will retain 100% of spectator admission revenue. 

        • Recommended price: $15 per ticket.

    Concessions Revenue: The Host will retain 100% of concession revenue. 

    Vendor Revenue:

          • For vendors secured by USPK, USPK retains any applicable sponsorship or vendor fees.
          • For vendors secured by the Host, the Host retains 100% of applicable vendor fees, subject to the Host’s agreement with the vendor.

  • USPK & Event Host Responsibilities

  • USPK will provide

    • USPK registration software for competitor tickets
    • Awards
    • Prize Money
    • Equipment - Printed Signage
    • Marketing - Social media, Printed USPK Banners
    • Staff - T-shirts (Judge, volunteer, staff, etc.)
    • SPL and National Coordinator airfare (Adult Nationals only) 
    • Equipment - Laser Timers (Adult Nationals only) 
    • Local transportation for USPK/SPL personnel
    • Accommodations for USPK/SPL personnel

    Event Host will provide or coordinate

    • Local event promotion
    • Appropriate space for USPK and approved vendor displays
    • Required venue insurance and event coverage
    • Spectator admission/ticketing
      • Spectator admission will be managed through the Host’s ticketing or registration system.
      • The Host may determine spectator pricing and the availability of complimentary or discounted admission. 
    • Staff necessary for normal venue operations, including check-in, cleaning, and facility support
    • Event volunteers and support personnel in accordance with USPK event staffing requirements.
    • Required seating, sanitation facilities, and other venue infrastructure not already available onsite
    • Qualified onsite medical/first-aid personnel as required by USPK safety standards
    • Assistance recruiting additional volunteers as needed
  • Can the venue host the Annual Competitors’ Jam on the Thursday evening prior to the National Championship?*
  • Are any additional organizations, landlords, facilities, or third parties involved in approving or providing the proposed venue?*
  • Are there any additional costs to USPK associated with the use of the proposed venue or hosting a National Championship?*

    Separate or designated space is needed for event management/support staff and for athletes to warm up and rest.

  • Can the Host provide required event insurance coverage and name USPK as an additional insured for the National Championship?*

  • Can USPK and sponsor signage be displayed within the venue?*
  • Are there restrictions on the placement, size, or type of signage?*
  • Does the venue have any existing sponsorship or exclusivity agreements that could restrict signage or visibility for USPK sponsors?*

  • Food & Sales

  • Are there any venue fees, commissions, or restrictions associated with USPK selling event merchandise onsite?*
  • Will the venue permit food to be brought in for event staff, volunteers, and officials?*

  • Travel & Lodging

    The selected Host will work with USPK to identify nearby lodging options and assist in securing a discounted hotel room block for the event.
