The Howard University Alumni Association Emergency Scholarship Fund was established by the Howard University Alumni Association (HUAA) for the purpose of supporting students whose continuation at Howard University is severely threatened due to financial crisis.
The fund is administered by the following guidelines:
1. Only current Howard University students with all parts of a completed application received by the stated deadline will be considered.
2. A non-renewable scholarship will be granted to select students to be used during the Spring semester of 2020.
3. “Financial Need” is a priority in the selection process. Students must have a completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the Howard University Office of Financial Aid and Student Employment, indicating eligibility and approval for federal and/or other financial assistance.
4. The applicant must meet all graduation requirments
5. Applicants must be in their final year at Howard
All completed applications and materials must be received by the deadline.
