  • About the series

Sometimes the act of sharing is the starting point to trauma recovery. In “Release” The Lovepost invites citizens from across the globe to submit their trauma experiences. These submissions will be published anonymously across our social networks & website. The act of sharing these experiences can subside shame, dismantle unhelpful beliefs, lessen triggering and help survivors of trauma make sense of a completely senseless event or series of events.

About our Matters Of The Mind edition

In The Lovepost’s “Matters Of The Mind” edition, we critically examine the history of mental health and the ways in which it has shaped present-day narratives. We explore Indigenous and cultural knowledge and the answers they hold in transforming the mental health space. We look at how race, gender, sexuality, ableism and class intersect with mental health and influence how it is perceived and experienced. We celebrate the individuals and grassroots organisations who are breaking taboos, creating reform and leading us toward a healthier and happier collective consciousness. We offer solutions to ensure a future where mental health and wellbeing are treated as a priority rather than an afterthought.
