I hereby irrevocably and unconditionally give, transfer, assign, and deliver to the City of Escondido’s Escondido Public Library Pioneer Room (“the Library”), all legal rights to the property described above. I affirm that I own the property described and have the good and complete right, title, and interest thereto, and that the property is/are not subject to any liens, claims or encumbrances.

I understand that the described property shall be accessible to researchers in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Library, and that researchers may copy materials based on fair-use for research purposes. I hereby authorize the Library to duplicate, publish, reformat and display the described property, either online or in print, and including digital surrogates, for the purposes of research and education.

I understand that all donations are considered outright and unconditional gifts and may not be reclaimed by the donor or heirs. All gifts to the Library may be used or disposed of in the best interests of the Library. I understand that acceptance of a gift is not a commitment that the Library will permanently retain the property.
