This year we are proud to announce that local multimedia artist and recent Carnegie Mellon MFA graduate, Scott Andrew will be teaching a series of 10 Fashion Workshops in the Warhol education studio.
This series of workshops will serve as preparation for the YI14: Fashion Show that will happen the night of Youth Invasion, May 9. This is a special opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to learning how to design and create a unique garment from start to finish. You do not have to have prior experience but must express an interest in fashion design and sewing. Throughout the workshops, we will explore fashion history, DIY fashion with found materials, basic sewing skills, makeup & hair design, and more!
Interested applicants should fill out the below form by February 17, 2014 by 5pm.
Space is limited. There are only 12 spots available. Apply today! Warhol staff will be in touch about interviews and acceptance to the program.
For those who are accepted, all workshops are MANDATORY.
