Take your knowledge to the next level and apply now to become a certified Native Plant Master (NPM)! To get certified, accepted NPM volunteers must pass three NPM courses and then volunteer in one of two ways: 1) Volunteer Educator - educate 60 others using information you gained in NPM courses, or 2) Volunteer Citizen Scientist - document Colorado pollinators, plants or other natural elements per research project protocols by uploading 10 observations to iNaturalist with 20% at research grade.
There is no time limit on how long it takes to meet certification requirements. For the NPM Volunteer Educator track, we are looking for those that already have a way to educate others through their current job or volunteer position. For the NPM Volunteer Citizen Scientist track, we are looking for people who have an interest in plants, pollinators and/or photography.
