The Asher Library offers interlibrary loan service to students and members for those items that are not available for loan in the Asher Library.
After you have checked the Asher Library catalogue and our article databases, you may request an item on interlibrary loan by filling out this form with as much information as possible. Click submit at the bottom of the form to submit your request.

Please allow time for materials to arrive at the Asher Library. Although we primarily attempt to borrow from libraries that do not charge us for interlibrary loans, items may not be available for loan without a fee. If a fee is charged, this fee is passed on to the Spertus student or member. Please indicate how much (if anything) you are willing to pay for the loan. This is especially important if you are requesting photocopies, microfilm, dissertations, or hard-to-find materials.
You will be notified when the material arrives; books will be held at the Reference Desk for up to two weeks and articles will be scanned and emailed to the address you provide. If you are a distance learning student, we will ship materials to you (see Services and Policies for shipping charges). Material must be returned, or a renewal requested, by the due date or future interlibrary loan requests may be denied. Renewals may be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you. Please fill out the following form for your interlibrary loan request.
