This will be a juried exhibition. If your work is selected for inclusion in the exhibition or the slideshow, you may be asked for higher resolution images. Not all work submitted can be selected for inclusion in the exhibition. If your work is selected for inclusion in the exhibition, you will be responsible for shipping your work to and from Parsons, that is, ensuring its safe delivery to Parsons and arranging for its return to you at the conclusion of the exhibition. You are also responsible for shipping insurance.
You are also responsibie for insuring your work. The New School will not insure your work. Participants ship and place their work in the exhibition at their own risk. The New School cannot be held responsible for work that is damaged or lost.
Accepted work must either be hand-delivered (hours will be limited), or sent via a trackable method. If you are unable to arrange to pick up your work in a timely manner after the closing of the exhibition, you must include a pre‐paid method of return
Accepted entries must be received at Parsons by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 26.
If your work is to be hung, it must arrive ready to install with all of the necessary equipment. Installation will be completed by Sheila C. Johnson Design Center Staff.
If your work is chosen to be exhibited as part of the Parsons Alumni Exhibition, you understand that we may display your work in written materials, videos, on the Internet and in other media. In addition, we may also use images of your work taken by the University in exhibition installations, in these same media. Please note that once your work is on the Internet, we cannot control other uses or distribution of your work. As the creator, you agree that the work is wholly original to you and no third party can make any claim to the work. You will retain ownership of and all copyright rights in your work. You must own your work. Accordingly, you are free to use it for any other purposes, both commercial and non‐commercial. We will use our best efforts to provide acknowledgement to you accompanying any use of your work.
