CLIA unites aspiring leaders in the field of aging to serve as the internal student leadership board of the Hartford Partnership Program for Aging Education.
Appointment is based on a highly selective application process.
Eligibility:
o Open to HPPAE alumni or current students
Duration:
o Terms are 1 year long with possibility of renewal to a second year
Must have
o Ability to work as a member of a virtual team;
o Available for monthly conference calls;
o Demonstrated excellence in academic and professional pursuits
o Motivation to actively participate in workgroups
Activities include:
o Identify communication outreach strategies to HPPAE network and help maintain on-line networking;
o Create content for and help to disseminate a tri-annual newsletter, HPPAE Happenings;
o Participate as a reviewer of the bi-annual e-journal, Generativity, which features HPPAE alumni and student research on aging.
Applications will be reviewed by current CLIA members and SWLI staff.
