Re: MAC National Positions for 2011
Dear Commissioners:
The USA Taekwondo Martial Arts Commission ("MAC") has grown tremendously in the past year. The effort to re-establish a connection between our national governing body (“USAT”) and those who were excluded from participation during the USTU era has been met with great success. The growth and achievements of the last year are just the beginning of an established role for the MAC as a contributing affiliate organization of USAT and as a world leader in Taekwondo. With your continued support and with the contribution of your time, we will accomplish great things.
As we move toward the end of 2011, leadership and support positions must be filled so that the vital work of the MAC can continue. You are invited to apply for appointment to any one of the many positions that must be filled. The more volunteers, the better the opportunity for the MAC to take advantage of the vast talent and leadership our Commissioners bring to our organization.
To make this process as uncomplicated as possible, a Letter of Intent form is enclosed for your use. To fill a position, a Commissioner must have the experience and expertise related to the position for which you are applying.
After all Letters of Intent have been reviewed, the Executive Committee will make appointments as an acting position for 2 years to fill the available positions.
We encourage every Commissioner to volunteer to work for the continued success of the MAC, and we look forward to reviewing your Letter of Intent. Please submit Letters of Intent no later than November 7, 2011.
Thank you for your support and commitment.
