LIVE ANIMAL CONTRACT (MUST READ AND SIGN)

Pets are more than just cute, they are living things that deserve love and respect. Before purchasing an animal, PLEASE be certain that you can house the animal legally, and that no one in your home is allergic or opposed to the animal being in the home. There are no exceptions made due to parental or landlord issues, allergies, or lack of interest. Pets ARE NOT DISPOSABLE. They should only be purchased by a responsible adult that is prepared to properly care for the animal. NJ Exotic Pets does not offer guarantees on any live animal.

All animals require proper care and nutrition. Animals are subject to illness and/or dermatological issues. Veterinary care and the costs associated with it are the SOLE RESPONSIBILITY of the pet owner. A customer has three (3) days from the date of purchase to have their animal checked by a licensed veterinarian at the customer's expense. If for any reason the animal is determined to be unfit for sale by a licensed veterinarian, the customer must first return said animal to NJ Exotic Pets with veterinarian documentation, at which point the customer is entitled to store credit of the purchase price of the animal or a replacement animal of equal value. NJ Exotic Pets will not replace animals due to complications from poor care or neglect by the customer. NJ Exotic Pets reserves the right to a second opinion from a licensed veterinarian of our choice for all medical discrepancies.

If for any reason you cannot keep or properly care for an animal, NJ Exotic Pets CAN take an animal back on a donation basis ONLY and we will rehome the animal. Animals will only be taken in with a PROPER ENCLOSURE and only if the store has sufficient space for the animal. NO ANIMALS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR DONATION WITHOUT A PROPER ENCLOSURE! NO MONEY OR STORE CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS! That being said, PLEASE purchase responsibly. Deposits and purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable!

If you leave a deposit on an animal, you have up to three (3) days from the deposit date to pick up the animal. After three days, the deposit is lost and we reserve the right to sell the animal to someone else.

Las mascotas son más que adorables; son seres vivos que merecen amor y respeto. Antes de comprar un animal, POR FAVOR asegúrese de que puede tenerlo legalmente en su hogar y de que nadie en su casa es alérgico u opositor a la presencia del animal. No se harán excepciones debido a problemas con padres o propietarios, alergias o falta de interés. Las mascotas NO SON DESECHABLES. Solo deben ser adquiridas por un adulto responsable que esté preparado para cuidarlas adecuadamente. NJ Exotic Pets no ofrece garantías en ningún animal vivo.

Todos los animales requieren cuidado y nutrición adecuados. Los animales pueden estar sujetos a enfermedades y/o problemas dermatológicos. La atención veterinaria y los costos asociados son RESPONSABILIDAD EXCLUSIVA del propietario. El cliente tiene tres (3) días a partir de la fecha de compra para llevar su animal a un veterinario con licencia, por cuenta del cliente. Si por cualquier motivo el animal es determinado como no apto para la venta por un veterinario con licencia, el cliente debe devolver primero dicho animal a NJ Exotic Pets con la documentación veterinaria, momento en el cual el cliente tiene derecho a un crédito en tienda por el precio de compra del animal o un animal de reemplazo de igual valor. NJ Exotic Pets no reemplazará animales debido a complicaciones causadas por mal cuidado o negligencia del cliente. NJ Exotic Pets se reserva el derecho a una segunda opinión de un veterinario con licencia de nuestra elección para cualquier discrepancia médica.

Si por cualquier motivo no puede mantener o cuidar adecuadamente a un animal, NJ Exotic Pets PUEDE recibirlo únicamente como donación y nosotros nos encargaremos de reubicarlo. Los animales solo serán recibidos con un RECINTO ADECUADO y únicamente si la tienda tiene suficiente espacio para alojarlo. ¡NO SE ACEPTARÁ NINGÚN ANIMAL EN DONACIÓN SIN UN RECINTO ADECUADO! ¡NO SE ENTREGARÁ DINERO NI CRÉDITO EN TIENDA! ¡NO HAY EXCEPCIONES! Dicho esto, POR FAVOR compre responsablemente. ¡Los depósitos y las compras no son reembolsables ni transferibles!

Si deja un depósito en un animal, tiene hasta tres (3) días desde la fecha del depósito para recogerlo. Después de tres días, el depósito se pierde y nos reservamos el derecho de vender el animal a otra persona.

Al firmar a continuación, reconozco que he leído y entiendo, y que acepto y estoy de acuerdo con los términos establecidos.
