  • 9:00 a.m. Workshop for Homeschooling Parents by Dawn Bradshaw of Teaching Parents Association. Dawn will cover a variety of topics of interest to homeschoolers.
  • 10:00 a.m. Exposing a Trojan Horse screening. Important viewing by all those interested in keeping homeschooling legal and available.
  • 10:30 a.m. Good Fences Make Good Neighbors: What Authentic Homeschooling Is and Isn't by HSLDA Attorney Scott Woodruff
  • 11:30 a.m. Lunch break with box lunches being distributed in the foyer for those with advance reservations. In the auditorium, there will be a second screening of Exposing a Trojan Horse and a video presentation about the Homeschool Foundation and the Parental Rights Amendment.
  • 12:30 p.m. Cornerstone Choir will perform.

  • 1:45 p.m. What TeenPact Is All About by the Missouri and Kansas TeenPact Ambassadors.
  • 2:15 p.m. Tribute to Homeschool Hero Chris Klicka.
  • 2:30 p.m. Homeschooling in Kansas, a panel presentation by HSLDA's Scott Woodruff, CHECK Legislative Liason Kent Vincent, Senate Education Committee Member Senator Tim Huelskamp, and CHECK President Gary Olds.
  • 3:30 p.m. National Christian Forensics and Communications Association demonstrations and information by Kansas NCFCA State Representative Cheryl Reynolds and various NCFCA presenters.
  • 4:00 p.m. Protecting Our Rights, keynote address by HSLDA Attorney Scott Woodruff.
  • 5:00-6:30 p.m. Legislative Reception. Please stay with us to attend a reception for Kansas legislators.
  • Optional Social Opportunity Offsite

  • 6:30-8:30 Pizza Social hosted by Verbatim Speech and Debate Club. This is an optional social that you can sign up for as part of the registration process. It will be held nearby at a meeting room at nearby St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, 1700 SW 7th Street.
  • Teen Track Schedule for Events Held in the Lower-Level of US Bank at 8th and Jackson

  • 9:00 a.m. National Christian Forensics and Communications, screening of informative video.
  • 9:45 a.m. Games Speakers Play. Ways to boost your speaking skills by playing games.
  • 10:15 a.m. Wichita Homeschool Robotics. Demonstrations a presentation of what competitive robotics is all about.
  • 10:45 a.m. Generation Joshua. Find out what it means to be a part of the important organization for homeschooled teens.
  • 11:15 a.m. 4-H and Homeschooling. Listen to a panel of homeschooled 4-Hers explain how 4-H and homeschooling are a natural pairing.
  • 11:45 a.m. Teen Lunch. Teens registered in the Teen Track will receive a box lunch and will eat together in the teen meeting area. Over the lunch break, teens will have an opportunity to visit with some of the presenters to explore their topics further, ask questions, and view materials brought by the presenters.
  • 12:45-2:15 p.m. Teens will join everyone else in Memorial Hall for the presentations by Kris Kobach and TeenPact.
  • 2:15 p.m. TeenPact. The Missouri and Kansas TeenPact Ambassadors will continue with just the teens.
  • 3:00 p.m. American Majority will present a program for the teens on becoming grassroots activists.
  • 4:00-8:30 p.m. Teens will join everyone else in Memorial Hall for Scott Woodruff's keynote address and the reception for Kansas legislators and for the optional Pizza Social at another location.
