USAGE POLICIES - WALLACE HALL FINE ARTS CENTER
The policies below apply to ALL users of Wallace Hall. The policies are in effect to maintain the facility in as good condition as possible and make it available for near-continuous use to the college and the community. It is the responsibility of the user to inform all participants of these policies.
1. At any given time there are between four and ten tables in the lobby. The Fine Arts Center Staff does not have access to additional tables. Please send a Work Request for the Maintenance Department if additional tables are required.
2. Fire Code requires that ALL exits be clear and free of obstructions at all times.
3. No tape, glue or other adhesives may be used for any purposes. All displays must be free-standing and may not be attached to the lobby walls or columns. Ribbons for seating reservations may be tied, but not taped to seats.
4. Please submit all technical requirements by email to wallacehall@gadsdenstate.edu at least 15 days before your event.
5. Any event which charges an admission is required to use the Wallace Hall Box Office Service. For information, call 8475.
6. It is the sole responsibility of the user to provide decorations and music for events and arrange for the delivery and removal of these items.
7. Any item used in an event must be removed within two hours of the conclusion of the event. Wallace Hall is booked over 250 days annually and it is critical the facility is left empty and clean for the next user. The Language & Fine Arts Division is not responsible for any item left in Wallace Hall. If any item is left behind without prior approval, a work request will be submitted for its removal.
8. Six choral risers are available for use in Wallace Hall events. The user must provide two persons capable of lifting 100lbs to help with setting these up.
9. Wallace Hall rentals generate significant revenue for the College's general fund. If you realize that you will be unable to use a date that has been reserved, please let us know at 8475 as soon as possible so the date may be released for other use.
