    • I understand that dogs placed by the Detroit Bulldog Rescue have been acquired, fed and boarded; have received necessary medical care and vaccinations; and have been tested to be free of heartworms and contagious disease at the expense of Detroit Bulldog Rescue volunteers, who receive financial reimbursement for expenses only through donations. I understand that I may be asked to give a donation to the Detroit Bulldog Rescue to help with the spaying/neutering and veterinary care of current and/or future rescued Bulldogs. 

      I have answered all the above questions truthfully to the best of my knowledge. I have read a copy of the Adoption Contract, understand it and agree to abide by its terms should a Bulldog be available for placement in my home. I understand that if, for any reason, I can no longer care for or keep the dog, I must return it directly to a Detroit Bulldog Rescue member, and I will sign all necessary papers for the surrender of the dog. 

      The specific adoption amount is determined based on the individual dog's age, health, and rehabilitation requirements.

      I hereby make application to the Detroit Bulldog Rescue to have my name added to an appropriate waiting list to be considered for giving a rescued Bulldog a permanent home. I understand that my application may not be acknowledged unless or until I am being considered to adopt a particular Bulldog and that it may be important for me to be available for an interview by phone or in-person on short notice.
