    Thank you for offering your time and talents to serve people in need.  Knowing that your time is valuable, we appreciate the skills and talents you make available to our organization.  Love INC serves the southwest metro area, south of Hampden and west of University.

    Knowing our volunteers who join us in ministry is important, our goal is to place each person in a position that best suits their skills and interests. Completing this form will help us meet that goal.

  • What type of secretarial/admin asst duties do you enjoy?

  • RECEPTIONIST:  Two shifts per day: 8:30 - 12:00 and 12:00 - 3:00  Requires polite phone and communications skills, retrieving messages from voicemail and including them in a typed email to Executive Director and Clearinghouse Coordinator before 9:00 prayer time, and entering some data into a computer.  Walking up and down hallway to deliver messages, bending and light lifting is required.

  • INTAKE VOLUNTEER - Client Intake 

    Work directly with our clients over the phone.  Conduct initial interviews and make follow-up calls to connect clients with resources and volunteers.  Ideally, we ask that you volunteer at least once per week for 3 hours.  Volunteer Monday-Thursday mornings from 9-12 noon or afternoons from 12-3 pm, Good computer, keyboarding and communication skills are needed. Training is provided.

  • TRANSPORTATION - Love on Wheels

    Our transportation volunteers offer rides to doctor's appointments and other important appointments for clients who have no other transportation options.  This does require that you have a valid driver's license. automobile insurance and basic background check.  Our Transportation Coordinator develops a calendar with your choice of days to drive  You are then notified at least 3 days in advance if you will be needed to provide a ride.

  • MENTORING:  

    Walk alongside a client to help them, with Love INC, to develop action plan to resolve their need. Assist with filling out forms, prioritizing bills, and identifying ways to create order in their lives. Help a client begin to answer the questions:  What changes toward success need to be made in my life? and What steps do I need to take to get there?
