Your Majesty,

I am dismayed with the situation of 'Ali Hussain Sibat, who was sentenced to death on November 9th, 2009, in Madina and with another men who was also sentenced to death for "sorcery", in July 2009, in Hail.

I urge Your Majesty to halt their executions if they happen to be upheld by the Supreme Court. Amnesty International believes they were only sentenced for the peaceful exercise of their right to freedom of expression. Being so, I also call on Your Majesty to release both men immediate and unconditionally.

Finally, I request the authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to cease charging and convicting people for "apostasy", once that this accusation violates the legitimate exercise of the right to freedom and freedom of religion.
