Honors Carolina Course Planning Form

Please use this form to submit to the Honors Carolina office a list of courses your department plans to offer in the upcoming semester, including:

Honors First Year Seminars
Honors First Year Launch Courses
Departmental Honors Courses (course with the "H" suffix)
Honors courses taught as part of a study abroad program

It is not necessary to report Senior Honors Thesis courses (691H-694H)

Enrollment (Should be at least 24 unless special permission has been received from Honors Carolina. The exception is FY Launch courses which are capped at 35.)
Notes (list any prerequisites, restrictions, permissions, cross-lists, etc.)
First Year Launch? (Indicate if the course is being offered as a First Year Launch. Please note that the approval process for FY Launch courses is handled through CIM. A very limited number of Honors FY Launch courses may be offered each term; our office will confirm if we are able to allow your proposed offering.)
Taught Previously? (Has the honors version of this course been taught before? If not, it must be added via the Course Inventory Management (CIM) platform at least one week before the close of the Course Scheduling Maintenance period so that the honors deans can review/approve the syllabus.)
