Sariminasia has not been on the international scene very long. Yet, it has managed to pack in a large amount of history in a very short time.
Sariminasia is currently established at our Governmental Territory, i.e. the residence of many of the distinguised Servants of the Nation. Periods of rule concerning Sariminasia are broken down into Dynasties. Before the Sariminasian Nation was established, the current Governmental Territory was ruled by the King of the Almas Dynasty. No records are kept about his rule or if it was ever prosperous.
You should note that here in Sariminasia a Grand Vizier and Tsaritsa holds higher rank than the President or Secretary.
The Grand Vizier, Zaigham Abbas, along with his companion the Tsaritsa, Lubna Shazi, marched onto the Kingdom of the Almas Dynasty and unceremoniously relieved the ruler of his throne. The kingdom lay in ruins. However, under the new rule, it was refurnished with floors and staircases of pure, white marble and drapes, curtains and rugs of great value. The kingdom was not named under a dynasty, though technically it should have been under the Abbas Dynasty. It actually wasn't named anything. Subjects and foreigners simply referred to it as the Vizier's or Tsaritsa's Kingdom.
However, the 21st century was arriving. The Grand Vizier and Tsaritsa thought that they could hardly go about now as old medieval rulers with fancy Arabic and Russian titles in such an age of technology and development. They ended up getting regular jobs they were happy with, and did a couple of PhD's in numerous subjects. The Vizier and Tsaritsa gave their kingdom in an official proclamation to their little toddler, Minaam Abbas, who thought nothing of it till later on.
In 1999, it was apparent that the unfriendly locals of Saadi Street were not going to back down from throwing garbage and dirt on the ground and around the houses, no matter how much they were threatened with the Pakistani Law Enforcement. They claimed it was their neighborhood as much as anyone else's. It was necessary to begin a drive for justice.
Minaam Abbas, a hard-working, intelligent baby at that time came up with a solution. What if it wasn't their neighbor's neighborhood at all? He remembered that he had been the inheritor of a vast kingdom once, what if he could use that to his and his family's advantage?
Minaam claimed that the neighbors could not pollute the current Governmental Territory since every territory was not theirs'. Most of it was his and his family's. And it had been a kingdom once. The offenders jeeringly asked what it was called. It was at this time the legendary name, Sariminasia, cultivated in the mind of Minaam. At this point, the Grand Vizier himself showed up at his evening break and historical records were shown to the offenders. A witness claims that 'their eyes became wide with fear...first at the arrival of the Vizier and then at the procurement of the official records. They ran and left.'
In 1997, 3 years before this extraordinary event, the first and current Secretary of His Excellency, Sarim Abbas, was born. It should be noted here that the Secretary acts as a second President. He is not an adviser, not a servant to the President, but a 'second President'. He is also, in this case, the brother of the President.
Hence, it was apparent that the little Sarim Abbas deserved a portion of the kingdom too, by name or otherwise...something to show he possessed it, you know? Therefore, it was either a pure stroke of genius or a convenient coincidence that Minaam had named it Sariminasia. 'Sari' for Sarim and 'Mina' for Minaam.
So, the kingdom continued.
Sariminasia briefly came under war with the same offending neighbors who had once run and left from the sight of the Vizier. The war lasted a fortnight. In the end, by great bravery of the Secretary, the panic button was pressed on the first floor and the National Guard was called to cleanse the streets of Sariminasia from the vermin. The war was actually a great learning experience for the two brothers and they hungered for more. They are now currently searching for other micronations to declare war at.
So, the kingdom continued.
Fast-forward a couple of years, and it was obvious to both brothers that they had to get word out of their fabulous kingdom. The Secretary had just done a course in HTML at school. So, with a great HTML5 web-template from the internet, he designed this website in 2011, using the freeware program Kompozer and the National Webhost, Zymic.
It was also at this time that the brothers realized they should have something to symbolize their kingdom. They couldn't use the flags and anthems of their parents when it had been under their rule. They were just too drab. They came up with their own flag, Presidential Seal and what not. Being not so particularly talented at singing, they adopted the popular eastern rap song of their time, Kangna. They also mustered up some courage to sing some songs of their own later and came up with Sariminasian blockbusters and were awarded with many Graminasian awards. Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that the Graminasian Award is the highest form of award for musicians and songwriters, while the Oscarasian Award is for amazing movie-making and acting. All in Sariminasia, of course.
Also in 2011, there were many governmental reforms. Numerous programmes like the Space Programme were launched. There were a lot of achievements in the Space Programme, which is managed by the Secretary. Our National Rocket, the Tribune (which is also coincidentally the name of our National Newspaper) had a flight time of 18 seconds and flew a total of 50 feet, soaring way above Governmental Territory. The fuel used to power it was developed by the Ministry of Science, currently managed by the Secretary as well.
