Thank you for choosing the Etowah Lions to serve your trash needs. We have fee-based services other than your kitchen and bathroom trash so call the office when you have these come up. IE: Bulk items, cleanouts, remodeling, etc. Our policy and calendar are on the main website www.etowahlionsservices.com, for your convenience and reading pleasure! We will always assume you have read the policy when you call in. It isn't very long so please take a few minutes to go through them.

Please make sure you check the Henderson County website www.hendersoncountync.org often for recycling requirements. That is what we follow. It changes often and sometimes they are very subtle changes. We try to keep up with it too.

Our current rate is $24.00, Jan 1, 2024 it will be $25.00 per household a month for the basic curbside pick up of 99 gallons of bagged trash per week (gallon size is on the box the bags come in). Over limit will be charged. Loose trash is not picked up! We have other service rates for larger households. (The service fee is subject to change, you will be notified if we have not been able to get it corrected here) If you need more than 99 gallons of trash picked up per week we can accommodate that for a different fee.

Due date is the 1st of the month, late after the 10th of your chosen billing cycle. Schedule your payment to us so that it does reach us in a timely fashion. Online banking is mailed to us. It is recommended you schedule that to arrive as close to the first as possible. The 10th is the grace period. Payments received after the 10th will be assessed a $5.00 late fee.

Forms of Payment we can receive - Cash, Check (online banking is fine), Money order, ACH draft off of a checking account. Credit/debit cards in person or over the phone. We do not keep credit card info on file. Credit/Debit card transactions will be charged a 4% convenience fee at the time of processing.

Recycling is picked up at the curb every other week and is unlimited if prepared per the Henderson County requirements. We ask that your recycling is in a clear or see-through bag. If you put it in a trash container mark it as recycling to make it easier to spot when driving up to it. DO NOT PUT YOUR RECYCLING IN WITH THE TRASH, PLEASE. We do not dig through your bags to find them. The landfill looks at the bags that come out of our trucks, if they are not clear or blue then they are trash! Please do not bring trash to our building. We do not have a trash drop-off!

Sometimes we will get requests that are outside our service area. We will notify you of such an event and if we can, give you the local hauler names.
