  • I agree to pick up my child on time at 3:30PM.
  • Note: A new behavior policy has been implemented. If children misbehave during M3 sessions, a warning note will be sent home.  If the behavior continues, the child will be removed from the remainder of the M3 sessions for that quarter.  Tuition will not be refunded if the child is removed because of behavior issues.  It is our goal to provide an enjoyable and enriching experience for class participants.

  • Class Descriptions

    Monday Classes:

Chess (1-5, $60): Come learn some chess strategies from our very own beloved principal, Mark Green.  Students will be divided according to experience and can challenge each other in some friendly games of chess.  Learn a game that can be fun for a lifetime!

Creative Writing (2-5, $60): Love to write!?!  Want some extra writing experiences and meaningful feedback? Students will have the opportunity to choose their own topics, find their literary voices, and enjoy the challenge of being wordsmiths.

Legos (K-2, $60): Come and build Lego with your friends at Murray.  Projects will include building from instructions or trying to replicate different objects!

Scrapbooking (3-5, $70): Each week students create lasting memories by making a page for a scrapbook using pictures, stickers and decorative paper.  All tools and decorations are provided.  Students can bring their own supplies too.  All pages will be put into a scrapbook at session end.

Crafts (K- 2, $70) Join us for some fun craft time!  We will use recycled objects from home to create a variety of crafts.  Learn fun ways to use a 1 liter bottle, a white athletic sock, a miscellaneous glove, an old pillowcase, and a laundry soap cap to create a beautiful craft!

Crochet (3-5, $70): Gather round our Murray crochet circle for fun with yarn and friends!  Together we will learn the basics of crocheting and begin a project - a cozy scarf or chic purse depending on the child's preference.

Homework club (2-5, $60):  Students will get some extra help with homework while learning some critical organizational techniques:  time allocation, self advocacy skills, using your planner properly, and my personal favorite, putting everything in its place.

Math Madness (3-5, $60)- a class for math lovers!  Individual and group problem solving, including logic problems and brain teasers, and playing different math games!
    Wednesday Classes:

Newspaper 2.0 (3-5, $60): Come and be a part of the Murray Messenger.  Kids will write articles, take pictures, design and layout each section of the newspaper.   They will learn how to use several features in Microsoft Word to make their work look professional, a skill that will be helpful for school projects.

Quick Start Tennis (K-2, $60): Learn the basic skills required for tennis and enjoy playing with your friends!  Classes will be a new format to help kids under 10 learn and play tennis.

Violin (2-5, $60): Want to try a new instrument without the ordeal of buying equipment, finding a teacher, or driving around town? Come and try out the violin with your friends here at Murray!

    Friday Class:

Helping Hands (2-5, Free): Learn about local and international needs and take meaningful action to address some of those needs. We will take a field trip to the Food Bank to deliver food and to help stock shelves, we will help set up cots for a PACEM temporary homeless shelter (on Saturday morning 1/21), and we will create sanitation kits for an orphanage in Haiti. There is no cost to participate, but donations to help defray costs for our Haiti project are gladly accepted.
