    • Panels and Roundtables 
    • A typical session at Feminisms and Rhetorics will last 75 minutes. Depending on the number of participants you have on a proposed panel or roundtable, please adjust your time accordingly. 

      Panels typically include 3-4 speakers giving roughly 15-20 minute presentations. At the end of a panel session there will be a 15 minute discussion period. 

      Roundtables typically include individuals who speak formally for no more than 5-10 minutes each and then the session is open to discussion between presenters and audience members. 
    • Abstracts should be no more than 500 words, excluding contact information, for panels and roundtables.

    • The 2011 Conference will take place in the Centennial Student Union at Minnesota State University. The CSU has wireless access, and each conference room comes equipped with an LCD projector, screen, white board, and DVD player. Microphones will be provided in most spaces. Please indicate additional AV needs below.

    • If you choose to become a member of the Coalition of Women Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition, please select a membership option and include the amount specified in your registration payment upon receipt of acceptance notification.  Each membership option covers a two-year period.
    • Graduate Student Scholarship Information 
    • The College of Graduate Studies and Research at Minnesota State University, Mankato is providing four scholarships for $250.00 to help defer the cost of registration for graduate students. You will receive notification of the award in your acceptance packet no later than May 15, 2011. If you are a graduate student interested in being considered for the scholarship funds, please check the box below.

    • Upon notification of acceptance, you will receive information directing you to our payment and registration site. Please be sure to submit your registration and payment no later than August 1, 2011.  

      Included in your registration fees are:
      -all meals (breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner)

      -free transportation between hotels and conference site
      -free parking (for those who notify the organizers)
      -two excursions in the greater Mankato area
