Join Recreation Nova Scotia as we host the 2020 “Building Bridges: Cultivating Supportive Recreation Environments” conference in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
The theme of the 2020 conference centres around Goal 4 of our National Recreation Framework and Shared Strategy for Advancing Recreation in Nova Scotia – Supportive Environments. Sessions will focus on the recreation practitioners' understanding of and commitment to providing supportive physical and social environments in both built and natural settings to foster strong and caring communities. This will include sharing of wise practices related to this. All sessions should relate not only Goal 4, Supportive Environments, but also link in with other goals from the Shared Strategy - Active Living, Inclusion & Access, Connecting People & Nature, Recreation Capacity.
All sessions will be 1 hour in length excluding research presentations which will be 20 minutes each.
