YACHATS ORIGINAL ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR GUIDELINES
Vendor Selection and Cancellation:
February 3: The arts fair application form and payment are due by this date. If you are paying by check, mail check by February 1. Decisions regarding vendor participation rest with the Arts Fair jury.
February 10: Applicants will be notified of the jury’s selections by this date.
February 23: Booth assignments will be announced before or by this date. If there are any adjustments in fees as a result of a 2nd choice booth assignment, we will notify you at this time (whether it is a reimbursement or additional charge.)
Ongoing after February 10: Vendors placed on a waiting list will be notified should booth space become available.
March 1: If you are not selected or if you cancel by March 1, all fees will be refunded minus a $20 administrative fee. Cancellations made after March 1 cannot be refunded.
Set-Up and Take-Down:
Set-Up
March 20 (Friday) between 4:00pm and 9:00pm.
March 21 (Saturday) between 8:00am and 9:30am.
Take-down
March 22 (Sunday) between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.
Vendor Space:
Placement of vendors is at the discretion of the Arts & Crafts Fair Committee. Vendors are expected to provide your own chairs, tables, lighting, heavy duty extension cord, and other supplies needed to personalize your space for the show. Access to electricity will be provided if you have requested it on the application.
Vendor Wares:
Only your original art/craft and reproductions of your original art/craft are eligible for sale at the fair. Vendors are asked to use discretion when selling items. The Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce Arts Fair Committee reserves the right to prohibit items deemed inappropriate, not in keeping with the product photos or descriptions provided in your application, or not in keeping with the positive, family atmosphere of the Fair.
Tables:
Vendors are expected to bring their own tables. If you absolutely need tables, we have a limited number (8’ and 6’) that we can provide for a fee of $5 a table if you have requested them on the vendor application. If you find that you need tables on the day of the event, if we still have any available, the charge will be $10 a table.
Parking:
Vendors may unload and load in the loading lane at the front of the Yachats Commons building, 441 Hwy 101, or from parking spaces next to the Commons. During the Fair weekend, vendors must park on side streets away from the Yachats Commons so that there is parking available to your Fair customers.
Security:
Overnight security will be provided by the Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce. During the Fair weekend vendors are asked to never leave your booth area unattended. Do not leave money out where it can be seen. Above all use common sense.
